In Atlantic, he will be responsible for the Strategic business unit Coffee.
Mate Štetić, new General Manager of the SBU Coffee, is joining the Atlantic team in September from the position of the President of the Management Board of PIK Vrbovec where he was credited for multiple sales growths and for positioning the company as the market leader in the meat processing industry of the entire region, as well as for being the innovator within the category. Prior to PIK Vrbovec, he led the company Mlinar in the position of the President of the Management Board where he started a successful restructuring process ensuring focus on own retail chain through significant changes in the approach to business operations and the assortment. Prior to that, he was the Marketing and R&D Deputy of the Director at Ledo and Zvijezda where he successfully positioned these brands among the most recognisable in Croatia with excellent sales of Ledo in various channels as well as expansion to other markets.
Mate Štetić is taking over the position of the SBU Coffee General Manager with the main goal of steering the overall operations and organisation of this area in the direction of sustainable and stable long term growth, that is, towards maintaining and advancing the leading position in our region. The SBU Coffee with its brands Grand kafa and Barcaffe will strategically focus on two main segments — further rejuvenation and modernisation of the so-called domestic coffee category with a special emphasis on strengthening consumption outside the home which is one of the main pillars of further growth of the broader assortment of Atlantic Grupa, and on operational performance with the goal of maintaining operational profitability.
