Atlantic Grupa receives the “ESG Leaders” 2026 award for biodiversity conservation

The “ESG Leaders" competition, organized by PwC Serbia for the third consecutive year, recognizes companies and organizations that strategically and responsibly implement ESG principles and contribute to the sustainable development of the business environment in Serbia.

Atlantic Grupa won the award in the Biodiversity Conservation category (business sector). The award was presented at a ceremony held on May 21 at Palata umetnosti Madlena, and was accepted by Marko Abramović, Managing Director of the Strategic Business Unit Snacks.

This recognition is another confirmation of Atlantic Grupa's ongoing commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices. A particular focus is currently placed on preparations for the implementation of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), which requires greater raw material traceability and responsible supply chain management.

For this reason, during 2025 the company intensified its preparations, further enhanced traceability and supplier management systems, and worked on ensuring reliable data on the origin of raw materials. This particularly applies to coffee and cocoa, commodities associated with an increased risk of deforestation.

As part of this approach, we are also gradually reducing the use of palm oil and continuing to strengthen energy efficiency and increase the share of renewable energy sources, thereby contributing to the preservation of natural resources.

All of these efforts are part of a broader approach through which Atlantic Grupa integrates sustainability into all segments of its business, with the goal of creating long-term and responsible value for the environment and the community.
