Zoran Stanković is CFO of the Year!

The recognition is especially significant as the CFO of the Year award was presented for the very first time.

At the award ceremony held last week at the Westin hotel in Zagreb, Zoran Stanković, Vice President of the Group for Finance, Procurement, and IT, received the CFO of the Year award (Chief Financial Officer). CFO of the Year is a strategic project by Poslovni dnevnik and PwC Croatia aimed at highlighting the importance of finance directors in modern business, and the recognition is even more meaningful as this was the inaugural edition of the award.

The best among the leading names in Croatian management were selected by an expert jury composed of representatives from the financial industry, business community, and media. Stanković was unanimously recognized as the financial leader who most successfully met the demands of the modern CFO role.

We are especially pleased that the Rising Star recognition, which acknowledges CFOs on an upward career trajectory, was awarded to our former colleague from the company, Matija Mandić.

The selection process was based on Poslovni dnevnik’s “Top 505” list, along with additional criteria including positive business performance, the candidate’s experience, and contribution to the company’s strategic development. The jury evaluated areas such as sustainability, digital transformation, risk management, team development, and the creation of long-term value.
